Shout Color Catcher with Oxi

Earlier this month I told you about our experience with Shout Free, we still love the stuff! Now I get to tell you about our experience with Shout Color Catcher with Oxi, I had never used this product before and I really don’t know why see I hate laundry, I am completely lazy when it come to laundry and I don’t sort very well. I generally have 2 piles, the white pile and the none white pile, so many times I have ended up bleaching a black sock or tinting our whites pink because some red onesie or shirt ended up in the whites. You’d think by now I would learn to sort a little better but I don’t so when our sample of Shout Color Catcher with Oxi came I decided to put it to the test! Princess Dot got a brand new red shirt for Christmas and it hadn’t been washed yet so I thought hmmm okay I will throw it in the wash with some of our older white and colored clothes and if they get ruined then they will become rags or undershirts instead!

When I pulled our clothes out of the washing machine I was pleasantly surprised that I did not have to turn our clothes into rags or under shirts because they still looked great! The red shirt did not tint my clothes instead the Shout Color Catcher with Oxi packet was tinted pink and not our clothes!

  • Sheets lock up loose dyes found in the wash water to prevent dyes from running or bleeding onto other clothes.
  • Sheets change color as they absorb any loose dyes.
  • Saves time by reducing the need for sorting.
  • Saves money by reducing the need for
  • half-size loads.
  • Oxi Booster powder contains active stain removers to brighten whites and tackle tough stains like grass, dirt, blood and coffee.
  • Safe for all colorfast washables.
  • Works in all water temperatures.

Shout definitely makes laundry and my life a little bit easier with their awesome products. You can download a Shout coupon on the Shout Facebook page for Shout Free and Color Catcher with Oxi!

I try to save time by not letting things build up like laundry and dishes, pretty much just keeping up on things. :P

  7. I save time by keeping to a schedule of household cleaning chores and I know I clean faster when I listen to music. Music is a must for me when I clean because it puts me in a better mood. :-)

  9. I save time by making a list and then crossing things off as they get done… This way I don’t have to stop and think about what to do next and it keeps me on track

  10. I don’t really have a funny laundry story. I try to save time with my household chores by doing a little each day. I find that if there is no clutter, the house looks cleaner, so I try to put things away that I find laying around.

  11. I can laugh about this now but back then I was in tears…my son was potty training and he wore pull ups to bed after washing a load of pajamas I opened the machine to find everything covered in those slimy gel balls….lesson learned disposable pull ups are made for the trash, do not try to wash them!

  13. it is really not funny but my mom gave me a brand new washer which was much smaller than I was used to. I overfilled it, and something broke in it :( after the first wash! The positive thing that happened was that hubby went and bought me a brand new bigger one! lol.

I’m not sure if I’d classify this as funny or sad…I did a load of laundry unaware that there was a pack of gum in my daughters pants. Yeah, we unded up with gum on everything! Thankfully, I was able to save most everything because I caught the mistake before they went into the dryer.
