Back when I was pregnant with my 3 year old I started really thinking about our carbon footprint on this earth. Being pregnant with my 4th child I knew that we were bigger than the average family and I wanted to find ways to be a little more greener, when he was born we started using cloth diapers and cutting down on paper towels, plates, etc. When I got pregnant with Princess Dot I started to realize that part of being greener was to become more natural. We decided to start buying more expensive natural bathing items instead of Johnson’s baby line that I had used for all my other children. I hated spending more but didn’t think my children needed all of the extra dyes, paraben, and other junk that was in normal baby products. Thankfully Johnson’s brand has just come out with a NATURAL baby line of products! The Johnson’s Natural Baby line includes Shampoo, Baby Lotion, and Head to Toe Foaming Baby Wash that is allergy tested and hypoallergenic.
The products have:
- No Parabens
- No Dyes
- No Animal Byproducts
- No Silicones
- No Lanolin
- No Paraffin
- No Petrolatum
- No Phthalates
- No Essential Oils
We were sent an array of the Johnson’s Naturals products a couple of weeks ago to try out. Princess Dot is having major skin issues right now so I didn’t dare try the products out on her but I have used them all on my 3 year old and he has shown no adverse affect to using them, his skin is so soft and not greasy, like some other products we’ve used in the past, and the smell is awesome! I am really impressed with all of the products and will be purchasing them from now on.
The absolute best part of Johnson’s Natural line of products is you can get them for the same price as the normal Johnson’s products and can be purchased at most major retailers.
What steps have you made to be greener or more natural?
