After you potty train your kids you think that it will be the end of the accidents and you will be diaper free but for some kids that doesn’t always happen. Some children continue to have night time accidents well into childhood and as they get older it becomes completely embarrassing to the point where they don’t want to have sleep overs and are scared to fall asleep just in case they have an accident. These children aren’t lazy or gross they generally are just heavy sleepers and do not wake up to go to the bathroom.
Did you know that 85% of children need help to stop bed wetting? I have actually been pretty lucky in that most of my children stopped wetting the bed on their own, however, one of my older boys have been struggling with bed wetting for many years and he has suffered from it. He has been invited to sleep overs at friends homes and he always has said no for fear that he will have an accident. As a parent I want my child to be confident and social and not fear something as silly as this but for him it is a legitimate fear that will only go away when the bed wetting stops. I have tried everything to help him stop having these night time accidents, even medication which just dried him out and made him have cracked bleeding lips, nothing so far has worked so when I was contacted to review the Dry-Me Alarm along with the book: “Seven Steps to Nighttime Dryness” written by Renee Mercer, CPNP who is actually the owner of the Bed Wetting Store and is full of knowledge on bed wetting.
So we put the Dry-Me to the test and I have to say its so simple to use! The sensor hooks on your child’s under pants and then the alarm part clips onto their shirt, when the child starts to wet the alarm goes off which wakes them up (and the parent as well lol) to get them to the bathroom. I am so happy to say that my son has been completely accident free for over a month now! He has had his first sleep over and while he was a bit nervous he did great and had so much fun! I am so proud of my little guy and love seeing his confidence grow each and every day!
Bedwetting alarms, like the Dry-Me, are clinically proven to cure most bed wetting children in 8-12 weeks without the need for medicine! These alarms are FDA-registered, non-toxic, and have no side effects.I do want to note that the Dry-Me bedwetting alarm is recommended for children ages 5 and older, my youngest son will be 5 in June and if he is still having night time issues then we will start using the alarm with him then!
One MSM reader will win a Dry-Me Alarm as well as the “Seven Steps to Nighttime Dryness” to help your child have dry nights! (US only)
