There are a ton of baby products out there, so many so, it may be a bit overwhelming. Every child is different and they all seem to have different likes and dislikes (just like adults, imagine that). My darling daughter did not like to be put down so she did not like a swing or a bouncy seat or really anything for that matter until she got better control of her head then she absolutely loved the Bumbo seat! I used it for most of my photos of her because she was so happy when sitting up like a big girl.

Since that time Bumbo recalled their floor seats and have added safety straps to the seats to help keep baby’s a tad bit safer! They also have warnings on the seats that clearly state to prevent falls, NEVER use on a raised surface and always stay with and watch your baby! I think this is common sense but some people need to be reminded that these types of baby products are not baby sitters and you should sit with and play with baby while in the seat.

I want to make sure I point out more warnings so everyone can help keep baby safe while using the Bumbo!

Warning! To avoid serious injury from falls and other hazards:

Always use with the restraint belt.
Only use the Seat on floor or level ground surface.
Never use on raised surfaces such as tables, counters, chairs, beds, or near stairs. Even a belted baby can cause the Bumbo Seat to slide or move off raised surfaces.
Always stay with and watch your baby during use.
Never use as a booster seat, high chair, car seat, bath seat, or child carrier.
Never use the Bumbo seat in or near water to avoid drowning.

For #BabyLove we received a brand new Lime Bumbo Seat and since baby is still baking away I used Vader Bear as a model and went outside for photos. It’s overcast so I thought it would be perfect lighting but boy was I wrong the lime green is not this neon in person it’s a really pretty lime and will be perfect for a boy or a girl.

The safety belt is a neat little feature to keep baby from accidentally leaning too far over and falling out. I personally never had a problem with Dot doing this but safety is key with our babies!
