Pull-Ups First Flush Party

As I posted over the last couple months I have been on a mission to kick the accidents and get my daughter going potty full time with the help of Pull-Ups. I’m super proud to say she has been accident free, except for at nights, for the last month! To help celebrate this big milestone we had a “First Flush” party with her little friends.

Each kiddo (parent) received a totally awesome pack from Pull-Ups including a potty chart, stickers, some pretty awesome coupons, a free photo book from shutterfly, party hats AND noise makers! The kiddos absolutely LOVED the hats and noisemakers and the parents loved the coupon book.

During the party we really wanted to drive home how important it is to go on the potty so every time my Big Kid went during the party we had all the kids make a lot of noise with their noise makers and congratulate her after she went potty and washed her hands! Dot got an absolute kick out of it and so did all the other kids!

Potty training is HARD and is so different for each kid. What worked with one may not work for another so it was great to converse with other parents about their potty training tips and I loved sharing the new Pull-Ups Big Kid app with those who were still needing or just starting to potty train! The Big Kid App is loaded with tips, tools, games and more to help us celebrate every milestone with our Big Kids.

It’s so easy to lose your patience with potty training so not only does your child have to be ready but so does her mommy/daddy! My biggest tip is to not be afraid to get silly. Make a big deal about those potty trips! Sing and dance and have fun! It’s the only way you will survive the stress of potty training!

Our guests had a great time, a few of them even went home with a package of Pull-Ups to help them get ready for their own First Flush party and kick those diapers to the curb!
