I love shopping, there are so many adorable and useful products out there that just need to be found and it’s definitely a stress reducer for me! I also love finding deals so when I heard about a new Finds iPhone app, that consumers (like me and you) can post about the great products they find while out shopping I got super excited!
I thought this was such a fabulous idea! Most of the time I see deals posted on Facebook or other social networking sites which make me run out and need to purchase the item so with this app I thought woah how cool, all I need to do is download a free app on my iPhone and wallah I can see deals other people are getting, however, after downloading the app I found that the users aren’t necessarily using it as it was intended, or at least the way *I* thought it was intended.
I want to see the product in use and how much you purchased it for, I need to know whether it fits in my budget or not. I found that people aren’t really posting prices at all, I don’t want to have to click around to find the price and some are just posting stock photos, definitely not what I had in mind. I think this isn’t a flaw with the app itself rather than the users because the app states they prefer we use our own photos rather than stock.
When you do find an item you like you can like it, add it to your wishlist or just click the find button and it will take you over to where you can purchase the product!
One of the really great benefits of being one of Finds newest members is that when you share the things you buy you are entered to win a $100 GC every week. The more Finds you post the more entries you receive each week!
What are some deals that you have found recently?
I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of the Finds mobile app. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
