I am getting so excited for baby to get here! We are a little over half way into the pregnancy and I’m starting to feel the pressure in getting geared up and ready for baby. Maxi-Cosi sent us the Prezi infant car seat in Envious Red to review.
My first thoughts were oh em gee the Maxi-Cosi Prezi so pretty! I am absolutely loving red right now and the color is bright and vibrant and absolutely perfect!
Maxi-Cosi combines G CELL technology, an advanced patented rebounding foam technology with hexagonal shapes, mitigates first impact energy along with Air Protect side impact protection, which is designed to protect where it’s needed most – around the head – by immediately reducing impact forces through the precise release of air. Together, these technologies provide superior side impact protection for children in the event of crash. I love that Maxi-Cosi keeps safety in mind when making their car seats!
With the 1-click mini LATCH connectors installing the car seat was a breeze! Seriously from box to van took maybe 2 minutes? It would have taken longer if I needed to adjust the straps to fit baby but everything is pre-assembled so I just removed the packaging and clicked in the LATCH connectors and tighten.
The Prezi has a 5-point harness with Center Front Adjust which makes adjusting the straps so much easier.
It also features this pretty cool level that shows you where the base needs to be positioned depending on your infants weight.
The Prezi comes in a bunch of super fun colorsis a bit larger than most other infant car seats, it weighs 11.7 lbs and it longer than any other car seat I own but I see this as a good thing since it is designed for infants 4 to 30 lbs rear facing; up to 29 inches!
Compatible with most Quinny & Maxi Cosi Strollers as well as additional strollers with an adapter. Stay tuned for a Quinny Zapp X-Tra giveaway to turn this car seat into a totally awesome travel system!
One very lucky MSM reader will win their very own Maxi-Cosi Prezi car seat!
