As you know we are a huge techy family and love trying out new apps, especially learning apps. I have always wanted to learn a Foreign Language and would love for my children to at least have basic knowledge of another language, or multiple languages. I’ve always been told it is much easier to learn a 2nd (or 3rd or 4th, etc) language when your younger, preferably a child so an app that helps my children learn another language is pretty exciting to me!
Gus, an animated traveling owl, guides children on an interactive series of 10 vocabulary activities. After completing each lesson, Gus playfully encourages them to unlock the next adventure by reviewing what they have learned. Delightful animal noises, transportation sounds and vibrant animations motivate children to see, hear and touch objects in a simply creative way. Most importantly, Gus on the Go helps children improve their hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills and basic vocabulary proficiency.
Gus on the Go features
- New games, unlocked by completing lesson reviews
- Fun interactive animations and sounds
- Access to country and city maps
- Trophy room to track achievements

After taking a better look at Gus On The Go in the trailer above you can see it is the perfect app to help your child(ren) learn a new language! Gus is super cute and keeps the kiddos entertained while they are learning the language of your choice. After they are done studying the teacher quizzes them on what they have learned and if they get enough correct they unlock a mini-game to play so it keeps them paying attention and wanting to learn more!
